ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT POLICY STATEMENT

Abbycouriers accepts its responsibilities in environmental matters and recognises that good environmental management must be an integral and fundamental part of our corporate business plan.

Abbycouriers aims to continue to improve its environmental performance by:

 

• Educating our employees to recognise their responsibilities regarding the protection of the environment and to communicate these at all levels of the organisation.

 

• Conserving natural resources by reducing the use of energy and by recycling and using recycled materials and products wherever practical.

 

• The prevention of pollution by the management of particulate and emissions of noxious fumes and CO2 from our vehicles and ensuring our vehicles have the least impact on the environment as possible.

 

• Comply with and exceed relevant environmental legislation and regulations and with other requirements to which the company subscribes.

 

• Encourage and work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to improve their environmental performance including fuel efficiency.

 

• Make our environmental policy and objectives publicly available to Interested parties.

 

Honouring this policy will enable Abbycouriers to make meaningful contributions to the quality of the environment.
